The Forty Story world is a vast one. Through the first seven chapters, the book has introduced  more than 75 characters – or at least mentions of potential characters. How many survive the editing phase remains to be seen. For our own purposes and those reading the book’s first draft, here’s the list. A character appearing in multiple chapters is indexed in only the initial chapter in which he/she is mentioned. Roll the credits…
